Encrypted but reconstructable „Red Cloud“–Data-Storage available in 2026
Store your important files in encrypted data containers in the “Red Cloud”
Look forward to our upcoming “Red Cloud” service. In 2026, using special client software, we’ll enable you to store your most important data—encrypted—from any device. Only you will have the keys to your containers in the Sarcophagus. Neither third parties nor Grappt will be able to access your containers.
Grant permissions for your cloud containers
You alone can decide how you want to control access to your data containers. To this end, you will be able to grant specific permissions to other Grappt users.
Take advantage of the opportunity to have access to restore your cloud containers.
For example, you can designate other Grappt users as reconstructors who can only jointly decide whether to grant access to your container to the recipients you have defined. You can specify a quorum that must be met in order for access to be granted.
Reconstructors can also restore access to the container for the recipients without gaining access themselves.
As an additional safeguard, as the owner of a container, you retain the right to veto such actions and can monitor all access to your sarcophagus in a history overview.
Assign access permissions for your data container to a definable event
Through the interaction between the “Cryp-t.cloud” client and the Grappt portal, you can link the rights to your encrypted container to specific events. Here, you can define potential and relevant options. (Death, coma, emergency ...)
